For this half terms creative project our high schoolers are out of school and at a local Forest School site. Yesterday was their first session and we took 15 students for an afternoon of forest fun. They had the best time! Starting with a game (that involved hammers, screwdrivers and some competition!) they then whittled their own skewers and chopped veggies to make vegetable kebabs which then cooked over the fire. They then had some free time to just 'be' in the forest and we finished up with a hot chocolate and a game of sardines. Looking forward to going back next week!
