Progress and Assessment
We choose to not carry out any SATS testing with our children. They do, however have regular informal assessments which enable us to track them through both our Montessori curriculum and the National Curriculum.
In Year 6, we assess more formally, to prepare the children for the move to high school and to allow us to then give the next school current and up to date information about their learning and ability.
In August 2016, 10 children left us to go to High School, one of which gained a full scholarship to Ipswich School.
In August 2017, 7 children transitioned to local state High Schools.
